When the dawn dips in the horizon

As much as dawn, I love the dusk. Not just the colours, the feelings too...it is an end to the day but something has to end for another to begin...I love this song because sadness is at the edge..."chhooey koi mujhe par nazar na aaye..." (I cannot see the one who touches me)...

Here is a rough transliteration of the first stanza; those better at it do feel free to correct me or add a nuance I might have missed:

In the distance when the dawn dips in the horizon
The evening bride walks in like a surprise
In the open expanse of my thoughts
Someone lights up dreams...

Kahin door jab din dhal jaaye
Saanjh ki dulhan badan churaye

Chupke se aaye

Mere khayalon ke aangan mein

Koi sapnon ke deep jalaye

ahhhh...i guess this song holds diffrent meanings to diffrent people....my smile was for.Kahin door jab din dhal jaaye
Saanjh ki dulhan badan churaye
Chupke se aaye
Mere khayalon ke aangan mein
Koi sapnon ke deep jalaye
SO THE IDEA OF SOMEONE TIPTOEING INTO MY MIND AND LIGHTING UP DREAMS
MADE ME SMILE.
PS...ALSO THE SMILE WAS FOR PREVIOUS POST IN WHICH SIMILAR THOUGHTS OCCURED TO TWO DIFFRENT PEOPLE.:)

Then you might like this too:

Koi chupke se aake
Sapne sulaake
Mujhko jagaa ke bole
Ke main aa raha hoon
Kaun aaye yeh main kaise jaanoon...:)

Nice song...there is a Talat Mahmood one along similar lines...

"Pyaar par bas tau nahin hai mera..."

not a song..just a thought which popped up in the head on reading ur comment....too bad it sounded like a copy of great talat mehmood song...:)

Nahin, didn't mean to imply that. Thought you were doing taal se taal mila and giving song-tod jawab! Maybe playing with words of the Talat song. And anyway the rest of the words are very different.

Here:

Pyaar par bas tau nahin mera
Lekin phir bhi
Tu bataa de ke tujhe
Pyaar karoon ya na karoon

Bohat gentleman type isme bhi permission maang raha hai :)
